Membership Rights and Responsibilities

I understand that membership in the Aardenburg Imaging & Archives Digital Print Research Program grants immediate and full access to all AaI&A articles and reports as they are posted and updated on the AaI&A website. Donations by members are how AaI&A funds new research and maintains current tests in progress.

I understand that print sample submissions to the Digital Print Research Program are a volunteer effort on the part of AaI&A members. Any member is welcome to submit samples for testing for free, but AaI&A can only test as many samples for the membership as time, funding, and equipment capacity permits. If I volunteer to contribute samples for testing, I will first make a written request (via email, etc.) prior to sample submission. My written request enables AaI&A staff to advise me on the suitability of the samples for testing and the current testing schedule.

If I work for a manufacturer or reseller of digital printing equipment or consumables, I understand that AaI&A does not test samples directly for these companies without an additional contribution of funds to cover the ongoing costs of the requested tests (please contact AaI&A for further details on private testing options).

AaI&A management reserves all rights to determine the nature, content, and order of testing for the benefit of all members. Only samples made with readily available materials, processes and techniques that are easily reproducible by other members as well are likely to be tested.

Any personal information I give to AaI&A is to help AaI&A better serve me and remains strictly confidential. AaI&A does not sell or release personal information about its membership without their written permission.

I understand that AaI&A holds copyright to all published test results and other publications. I will abide by the terms of use as stated on the individual documents as they are made available to the public and/or membership.
